I am currently Content Coordinator and Producer for KNCJ Public Radio, creating classical music-related programming. I also do some work for the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, co-hosting and producing their podcast Inside the Music and taking part in pre-concert talks with the Orchestra’s Music Director/Conductor, Laura Jackson. As a free-lance writer, I write the program notes for both the Reno Phil and the Reno Chamber Orchestra, and other organizations on occasion. I previously worked with the Reno Chamber Orchestra for about twenty years, including two-plus years as its Executive Director. For nearly thirty years, I was an announcer at public radio station KUNR. I’ve also worked at the Nevada Museum of Art, and taught Music Appreciation at the University of Nevada, Reno and Truckee Meadows Community College.
